You'll manage the full lifecycle of ambulance claims, ensuring accurate payment posting and denial resolution. Your work directly impacts maximum reimbursement and compliance for our emergency medical services. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Review and submit ambulance transport claims to various payers.
• Post electronic remittances and patient payments into billing system.
• Resolve claim denials and prepare appeals or corrected claims.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and CMS billing regulations.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ambulance/EMS billing.
• Working knowledge of ambulance coding (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10).
• Proficiency in claim denial resolution and payer follow-up.
• Experience with clearinghouses and electronic billing software.

✨ Nice to Have

• Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) or CPC certification.
• Experience with Zoll Billing or similar EMS billing software.
• Knowledge of Illinois-specific ambulance billing guidelines.
