💼 About This Role

You'll author hardware requirements and lead validation for lidar, radar, camera, INS, and microphone sensors used in Torc's autonomous trucks. Your work directly impacts reliability and lifetime performance of safety-critical components.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Author and maintain technical requirements using Jama and DNG.
• Decompose system-level requirements into detailed sensor component specs.
• Collaborate with automotive Tier-1 suppliers to remove technical blockers.
• Lead development of robust test plans for lab and field validation.

📋 Requirements

• BS in Electrical/Hardware/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related with 6+ years experience (or MS with 4+ years).
• Experience with sensor modalities: LiDAR, Radar, Camera, INS, or Microphones.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama.
• Experience bringing automotive components to production.

• Automotive OEM/Tier-1 supplier experience.
• Design and execution of lab-based or field tests.
• Experience with ISO 26262, ASPICE, or autonomous vehicles.
