💼 About This Role

You'll enable Rocket Lab engineers to develop next-generation rockets and space systems by deploying and managing cybersecurity technology and policies to protect IP and infrastructure globally. This role balances security with business efficiency. You'll join a driven team working on challenging projects that make an impact on the future of space.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Carry out general administration and security tasks with continuous improvement focus
• Develop and implement standards for compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC
• Assist with project planning and deployment for Cybersecurity initiatives
• Provide support for Cybersecurity systems and supporting infrastructure

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a platform focused technology role
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST 800-171
• Experience with endpoint security, network security, or cybersecurity operations

• Experience supporting endpoint security operations and investigations
• Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing skills
• Firewall and Intrusion detection systems knowledge
