💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve Scribe's billing platform, driving revenue across 5M+ users and 600K+ organizations. Your work will involve designing resilient, event-driven systems and shaping the long-term architecture of the revenue platform. This role offers real architectural headroom and clear expansion into entitlements and monetization systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and evolve billing and subscription systems
• Design resilient event-driven systems for correctness
• Build and maintain reconciliation processes
• Ship customer-facing billing flows and internal tooling

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Built or maintained billing, payments, or high-integrity financial systems
• Strong backend engineering in Python and Django
• Comfortable scoping ambiguous problems and driving them end to end

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Stripe or similar billing platforms
• Experience supporting pricing or packaging changes
• Familiarity with enterprise invoicing or SaaS tax compliance tools
