💼 About This Role

You'll join EOS IT Solutions to repair and restore fiber optic infrastructure, including splicing and testing of single-mode and ribbon fiber cables. Your core impact is ensuring rapid restoration of network services in high-availability environments. You'll lead complex restoration efforts under pressure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform fault isolation and repairs on fiber optic cables and connectors
• Conduct single and ribbon fiber splicing in MMVs, splice cases, and ODFs
• Operate advanced fiber testing instruments (OTDR, OLTS, power meters)
• Maintain accurate records of repair activities and test results

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in fiber optic repair, splicing, testing, and restoration
• Proficient in using OTDR, OLTS, power meter, fusion splicer, and inspection scopes
• Strong ability to interpret OTDR traces and event tables for fault localization
• Deep knowledge of fiber types, connector standards (LC, SC, MPO, MTP), and splice protection

✨ Nice to Have

• Industry certifications such as FOA CFOT, CFOS/T, BICSI Technician
• Experience with high-count and ribbon fiber systems (864+, 1728+) and mass fusion techniques
