Description

As a Solutions Engineer at Okta, you will work alongside the sales team as a technical expert, delivering product demonstrations and proof of concepts to help enterprise customers understand the value of Okta's identity solutions. You'll engage with a diverse set of customers, from developers to C-level executives, and contribute to sales goals through your technical acumen and business insight.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in IAM
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience in web, mobile, backend, or IP-based development
• Experience with REST APIs, API Gateways, SDKs, and cloud platforms
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for customer-facing roles

Responsibilities

• Work alongside sales team as technical and domain expert for enterprise customers
• Understand customer challenges and provide product demonstrations aligned with their needs
• Plan and deliver Proof of Concepts for complex use cases
• Provide feedback to product management for product enhancements
• Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
