💼 About This Role

You'll lead training and mentoring for nursing teams in a fast-paced emergency hospital. You'll build confidence and skills in veterinary assistants and technicians through hands-on coaching and program development. This role combines on-the-floor mentoring with strategic training design to elevate care standards.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with leadership to identify training needs
• Assess assistants and technicians through direct observation
• Drive advancement through VEG's Cultivate program
• Provide tailored hands-on training for all skill levels
• Develop and refine training content and assessments

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in state
• High level of knowledge in emergency medicine
• Previous training experience preferred

• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology
• VTS in ECC, internal medicine, or anesthesia/analgesia
• Willingness to travel to other hospitals in region
