💼 About This Role

You'll invent new reagents for next generation DNA sequencing through the synthesis and characterization of fluorescent dyes and conjugates. Your work will directly accelerate our mission to empower the scientific community with more freedom and flexibility.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Synthesize and purify fluorescent dyes, NHS esters, and conjugates
• Synthesize and purify nucleosides, nucleotides, and reversible terminators
• Synthesize and purify water-soluble spacers and cleavable linkers
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support R&D needs

📋 Requirements

• B.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience with synthesis and HPLC purification of small molecules and fluorescent dyes
• Experience characterizing dyes and nucleotides by NMR, LCMS, and excitation/emission spectra
• Proficiency with SciFinder, ChemDraw, and Mnova

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.)
• Experience in bioconjugation, assay development, or photo(redox)chemistry
• System integration experience
