You'll join Bluelight, a software consultancy building innovative applications. You'll design and maintain ETL pipelines on Azure Synapse Analytics, ensuring data quality and performance. This remote role offers the chance to contribute to challenging projects in a collaborative, growing team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python (PySpark) in Azure Synapse.
• Design star schemas and data models for MPP SQL Pool.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files.
• Monitor ETL jobs and resolve performance bottlenecks.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in ETL data engineering with Python and PySpark.
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics (Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services).
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize performance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with big data technologies and machine learning.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Agile methodologies experience.
• Certifications in data engineering (e.g. Azure Data Engineer).
