Description

You will step into K-8 classrooms on an as-needed basis, following prepared lesson plans to ensure learning continuity. Your role is to foster a positive, respectful environment while supporting diverse student needs across subjects and grade levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
• Relevant coursework and/or experience working with children in an educational setting
• Valid teaching certification preferred; substitute certification or permit acceptable
• Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school environment
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Implement prepared lesson plans to ensure continuity of learning
• Create a respectful and inclusive classroom environment with positive behavior management
• Provide individual and group instruction and support to meet varied learning needs
• Record daily attendance and submit documentation to regular teacher and administration
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and grade-level teams; leave notes for returning teacher
