Description

You will develop and improve manufacturing processes for propulsion components and assemblies, focusing on precision welding and fabrication of tubing for aerospace applications. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in mechanical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering
• 2+ years experience with OTW, TIG, proof testing and cleaning (II level)
• 5+ years experience with OTW, TIG, proof testing and cleaning (Senior level)
• Experience setting up/operating a tube shop or build area

Responsibilities

• Develop, perform, and qualify precision welding and fabrication of tubing components per aerospace specs
• Utilize TIG, MIG, OTW and other welding methods
• Conduct inspections using NDE/NDT methods
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design specifications
• Lead root cause/corrective action investigations
