You will define and execute Careem's AI strategy, lead a team of 30+ ML engineers and data scientists, and drive applied AI innovation across the Everything App. Partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and ensure measurable business ROI.

• Drive standardization and platformization across ML systems
• Establish clear success metrics and measurement frameworks for AI initiatives
• Represent Data Science leadership in executive and strategic forums
• Collaborate with engineering, product analytics, and data platform teams

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-year strategy for Data Science and Machine Learning across all verticals
• Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of 30+ ML engineers and data scientists
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of end-to-end ML systems
• Lead innovation in Generative AI and LLM applications
• Champion MLOps and automation to reduce experimentation-to-production cycle time
