💼 About This Role

You'll lead commercial contracting end to end as the first Legal Counsel at OLIX, a deep-tech company building the next-generation decode accelerator. You'll own negotiations, set commercial risk positions, and build scalable legal workflows using AI tooling and automation. This high-autonomy role offers the chance to take a contracting practice from zero to scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Own the contracting lifecycle from intake through execution and post-signature management.
• Build playbooks, standard terms, and templates for use by the business.
• Design scalable legal workflows using AI tooling to reduce cycle times.

📋 Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent) with 4-6 years PQE.
• Trained at a top-tier City or international firm.
• Demonstrable track record leading commercial contract negotiations end to end.
• AI-native approach to legal work, actively using AI tools in daily practice.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in a technology company, ideally B2B hardware or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with enterprise or cloud customer contracting.
• Experience implementing or selecting CLM or legal AI tooling (Ironclad, Harvey, etc.).
