💼 About This Role

You'll design and operate a company-wide event bus built on Kafka, evolving a real-time monitoring system into a scalable, self-service platform. You'll define infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and build CI/CD pipelines with zero-downtime deployments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and operate a Kafka-based event bus platform
• Define and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK
• Build CI/CD pipelines with zero-downtime deployments
• Create self-service tooling for engineering teams
• Instrument platform with Datadog and define SLOs

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years in DevOps or Platform Engineering
• Hands-on Kafka experience with consumer groups and topic design
• Strong AWS expertise across compute, networking, and security
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation)

✨ Nice to Have

• Kubernetes/EKS experience
• Datadog or monitoring tool experience
• FinOps experience
