💼 About This Role

You'll lead the architecture and deployment of advanced HIL simulation environments for effector platforms at a high-growth defense tech company. Your work will enable full system integration testing across multiple programs, bridging software, autonomy, and flight hardware.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and develop HIL test benches for effector system integration
• Define HIL strategy and validation approaches for system-level test coverage
• Integrate hardware components like flight computers, ESCs, and sensors into HIL
• Develop automated test frameworks and CI/CD integration for continuous validation

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience in HIL testing or embedded systems integration
• Hands-on experience with real-time simulation platforms (dSPACE, NI VeriStand)
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for test automation
• Experience with communication protocols (MAVLink, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ROS or ROS 2 for simulation integration
• Strong background in flight dynamics or GNC model development (MATLAB/Simulink)
• Familiarity with FPGA-based simulation or embedded Linux systems
