💼 About This Role

You'll lead backend development for Protolabs' Manufacturing Partner Marketplace, building systems that power order lifecycle, automated auctions, and logistics. You'll own business problems end-to-end in a hybrid role based in Amsterdam.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design and delivery of features end-to-end with stakeholders
• Build APIs and backend systems for the order lifecycle
• Drive architectural decisions and improve platform foundations
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years building web applications and backend services
• Strong proficiency in Python for production systems
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with marketplace platforms or operational systems
• Deep understanding of event-based architectures
• Familiarity with Angular
