Description

As a Lead Toddler Teacher at Guidepost Montessori, you'll lead a mixed-age toddler classroom, creating a calm, purposeful environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and confidence. You'll observe each child closely, provide individualized lessons, and build warm relationships with families. Your leadership empowers toddlers to explore freely and take pride in their accomplishments, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.

Requirements

• Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification or already have a Montessori diploma
• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a group care or early learning setting
• Alignment with child-led educational approaches (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar)
• ECE or Child Development credits
• Enrolled or completed a 2-year Child Development or Early Childhood Education program

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom that fosters focus, independence, and exploration
• Support independence by encouraging toddlers to do tasks themselves
• Provide lessons in practical life skills, language development, and grace and courtesy
• Build trusting relationships with children and families, collaborating on each child's growth
