💼 About This Role

You'll build the Cloud Cost Management and Security & Access platforms for Airwallex's global payments infrastructure. Your work will directly impact engineering productivity, cost governance, and the security posture of the company. You'll tackle complex infrastructure problems at a fast-growing fintech unicorn.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build multi-level billing and cost attribution pipelines
• Implement Just-In-Time access request system for production environments
• Build self-service credential management and anomaly detection tooling
• Develop cost optimization recommendation and automated rightsizing systems

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in platform or infrastructure tooling
• Strong backend skills in Go, Python, or Java
• Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS
• Experience building data pipelines or backend services processing large datasets

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cost management, FinOps, or billing systems
• Familiarity with access control systems (JIT, PAM, ABAC/RBAC frameworks)
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management platforms
