💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical accounting and financial reporting to prepare the organization for its first external audit and entry into public markets. You will work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer to ensure compliance and readiness while leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical accounting for audit and S-1 preparation, including revenue recognition.
• Lead preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Oversee external audit process, ensuring readiness and compliance.
• Manage relationships with external technical accounting advisors.
• Establish workflows, controls, and reporting standards for public-company operations.

📋 Requirements

• CPA with Big 4 or national firm background.
• 8+ years of progressive technical accounting or financial reporting experience.
• US GAAP expertise and experience preparing GAAP financial statements from scratch.
• Track record in managing external auditors and accounting consultants.
• Experience using AI tools for accounting tasks.
