Description

Join Braze's Forward-Deployed Data Scientist group to partner with customers, implement ML models, extend product capabilities, and shape BrazeAI strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, Math, Engineering or related field; Master's/PhD preferred
• 3-5+ years hands-on experience as Data Scientist or ML Engineer with large-scale data and production environments
• Proficient in Python (Pandas) and core ML libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, CatBoost, XGBoost); skilled in SQL
• Strong engineering practices: well-structured code, Git, CI/CD, testing, code reviews
• Comfortable working directly with clients and cross-functional teams; strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer analytics teams on implementations including use case definition, data integration, pipeline setup, and ML model configuration
• Extend product capabilities by improving architecture and developing reusable data pipelines, APIs, and components
• Work with RL pipeline development team to refine reinforcement learning algorithms
• Contribute to BrazeAI product strategy and roadmap through customer insights and technical expertise
• Provide ongoing technical expertise to ensure successful adoption and long-term customer success
