Description

As an Instructional Assistant for the Low Voltage Telecom program, you will support learners preparing for careers in IT infrastructure and data center operations. You will assist with curriculum delivery, provide one-on-one tutoring, lead study groups, and ensure classroom equipment is managed properly.

Requirements

• Experience with network devices (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points)
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware/software (computer break/fix)
• Experience with supporting rack servers (Dell PowerEdge / HP Proliant)
• Knowledge of industry-standard cable specifications
• Familiarity with low-voltage topology (MDF, IDF, CDF)

Responsibilities

• Assist Technical Instructor with delivering approved curriculum
• Support remote classroom facilitation in interactive, hands-on style
• Take and track daily learner attendance in Salesforce and/or LMS
• Lead instructor-approved study groups based on learner performance
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and support for struggling learners
