You will design, build, and operate high-scale, low-latency ingestion and data-integration systems that power multiple downstream products for detecting and remediating compromised accounts. Your work enables ML models and remediation processes to operate effectively, driving significant company growth.

Requirements

• 6+ years industry experience as a Backend Software Engineer building production-grade Go and/or Python services at scale (e.g., 1B+ transactions/day).
• Strong understanding of Golang and its ecosystem, as well as Python and REST frameworks.
• Practical experience with streaming/messaging systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar) and stream processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS services and deployment practices.
• Proficiency in containerization using Docker.
• Solid understanding of database systems and SQL proficiency.
• Excellent system design and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of robust, scalable backend systems using Golang and Python.
• Own end-to-end projects from conceptual design through deployment.
• Ensure system SLOs/SLAs for latency, availability, throughput, and correctness.
• Instrument services with tracing, metrics, dashboards, and alerts.
• Provide expert technical support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Align teams around key projects and de-risk complex initiatives.
• Engage in asynchronous communication, code reviews, and system design discussions.
• Actively share knowledge and participate in professional development.
