💼 About This Role

You'll lead large-scale travel platform components such as flight/hotel search, pricing, and booking systems. Your work will directly impact millions of shoppers across APAC through scalable distributed systems. You'll collaborate with Product, Data, and UX teams to shape the future of ShopBack Travel.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead delivery of flight/hotel search and pricing components
• Design and build scalable distributed systems for real-time inventory
• Architect clean APIs for search, booking, and trip management
• Integrate with OTA, GDS, and supplier APIs

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years building consumer-facing platforms or distributed backend systems
• Travel/OTA experience strongly preferred
• Node.js or other backend technologies
• AWS cloud deployment experience

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with flight or hotel domains (availability, fare rules, etc.)
• Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices
• Generative AI tools usage (ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude)
