💼 About This Role

You'll architect Scientific Operations for a digital olfaction company, owning the Atoms-to-Bits pipeline and applications portfolio. You'll transform a bespoke laboratory into a high-velocity data factory, enabling 100k+ vial throughput for model training. Reporting to the COO, you'll set the 1-2 year roadmap for automation, applications, and scaling fragrance delivery across categories.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define the 1-2 year strategic roadmap for R&D operations and capex.
• Own the applications portfolio strategy for fragrance categories.
• Scale sample preparation to 100k+ vials per year for model training.
• Lead evaluation and deployment of lab automation and robotics.
• Recruit, lead, and develop a lean team of lab managers and technicians.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in R&D operations, lab management, or similar role.
• Experience scaling laboratory throughput and automation.
• Background in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• Proven track record in building and leading operations teams.
