Description

You will lead up to 120 technicians in the assembly and integration of Starship hardware, managing production schedules and driving quality targets while collaborating with engineering to optimize welding processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree
• 4+ years of GTAW, FCAW, or GMAW experience
• 3+ years of management experience
• Ability to interpret drawings and weld symbols per AWS D17.1
• Willing to work all shifts, extended hours, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 40+ employees per shift (up to 120 across 2 shifts)
• Manage modification, repair, assembly, and integration of production assemblies
• Resolve non-conformance issues and ensure safety
• Provide technical support to welding team and streamline fit-up/welding processes
• Monitor labor hours, costs, and implement improvement plans
