💼 About This Role
You'll build and manage Commure's employee data compliance and immigration program, sitting at the intersection of People, Legal, and Operations. You'll own sensitive, high-impact work across policies, audits, benefits, and immigration with precision and discretion. This role is focused on building scalable processes and reducing risk for a fast-growing healthcare AI company.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Own I-9 program, reverifications, document retention, and internal audits.
- Maintain annual compliance calendar for training, policy reviews, and handbook updates.
- Lead job classification reviews and FLSA exemption evaluations.
- Partner with immigration counsel on H-1B, O-1, L-1, STEM OPT, green card filings.
- Prepare and file required documents such as 1095-Cs, Form 5500s, and COBRA notices.
📋 Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in People Operations, Compliance, or related field.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. employment regulations including FLSA, I-9, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA.
- Experience supporting immigration filings in partnership with external counsel.
- Background managing compliance reporting and audits, including SOC 2 and benefit audits.
