💼 About This Role

You'll design and scale CI systems for Starship vehicle and launch pad software at SpaceX. You'll own tools that enable hundreds of engineers to integrate changes continuously. This high-autonomy role lets you identify and solve the biggest problems across the software stack.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Invent tools and processes for fast, correct software development.
• Hands-on integration and troubleshooting across the entire Starship software stack.
• Design, maintain, and improve dedicated on-premises compute pool.
• Identify areas for improvement and create innovative solutions.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/math/STEM
• Or 7+ years of professional software development in lieu of a degree
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)

✨ Nice to Have

• Skill with Bazel or similar build systems
• Fluency in Python, C++, Rust, or Go
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
