💼 About This Role

You'll join SpaceX's Launch Pad Engineering Team to design and optimize ground support equipment for Falcon rockets. Your work ensures safe and reliable launch operations. This role offers hands-on involvement from design through activation at a cutting-edge space facility.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as responsible engineer for launch pad fluid systems (compressible, incompressible, cryogenic)
• Troubleshoot issues using knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and controls
• Lead a team of technicians during build, installation, and activation of pad fluid systems
• Identify and implement upgrades to pad hardware, software, and procedures

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or chemical engineering or related field
• 1+ years of professional experience with fluid, mechanical, or low voltage electrical systems
• Ability to pass Air Force background check for Vandenberg Space Force Base

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience at a rocket launch/test facility supporting campaigns
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, Siemens NX, or similar CAD software
• Experience using Python for data review and analysis
