💼 About This Role

You'll develop and maintain scalable micro-services and APIs for a global market research platform using Python and event-driven architectures. You'll own the full software lifecycle on high-volume production systems and mentor other engineers. This role offers remote work within Romania with a focus on backend excellence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and optimize backend applications using Django, FastAPI, and Flask
• Design and implement event-driven services and microservices
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Lead system design and code architecture discussions
• Mentor other engineers and define testing strategies

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of Python backend development experience
• Expert knowledge of Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Advanced experience with PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks
• Proven experience building and deploying scalable microservices

✨ Nice to Have

• Understanding of Celery and task queues
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS and AWS services
