💼 About This Role

You'll lead a small team of Forward Deployed Engineers, writing code and shipping end-to-end solutions for Handshake AI's highest-priority customers. You'll build integrations, tooling, and APIs while setting technical direction and managing engineers. This role keeps you close to the craft as a player-coach at the frontier of applied AI.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Ship end-to-end technical solutions for strategic customer engagements.
• Design and build integrations, tooling, APIs, and workflows.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for key accounts.
• Manage and develop a small team of 3-5 engineers.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a customer-facing or field engineering role.
• Experience as a tech lead setting technical direction.
• 1-2 years managing a small team of engineers.

• Familiarity with distributed systems and backend architecture.
