Description

As a Lead Engineering Technician at ASM, you will take on a senior technical role supporting advanced semiconductor equipment. You will combine expert diagnostics with hands-on technical leadership, mentoring junior technicians and partnering with engineering, EHS, and customers to ensure stable, high-yield manufacturing.

Requirements

• Technical school degree (2-year) or Bachelor's with 3+ years experience, or 10+ years semiconductor technician experience
• Ability to achieve ASM Level 3 certification
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, software, and process subsystems
• Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols and equipment-process interactions
• Experience mentoring or coaching technicians

Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain Level 3 certification through ASM's Global Training Center
• Own two ASM toolsets across all configurations as senior technical expert
• Lead complex cross-platform troubleshooting and systematic failure-mode analysis
• Drive field-driven insights for product roadmaps and design improvements
• Serve as peer mentor for junior technicians and lead cleanroom safety strategies
