💼 About This Role

You'll transform from a practicing non-emergency veterinarian into a confident ER doctor through a six-month immersive program with hands-on mentorship and over 160 RACE-approved CE hours. You'll work side-by-side with experienced VEG doctors, gaining real ER experience in a supportive environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Work 3-4 hospital shifts per week including days, swings, and nights
• Participate in weekly case discussions and literature reviews
• Perform hands-on training in abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, and emergency surgery
• Learn client-centered communication and care following the VEG Way

📋 Requirements

• Valid DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree
• 1+ years of experience as a practicing veterinarian
• Valid veterinary license and DEA registration in the state by start date
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with exotic companion animals
• Previous exposure to emergency medicine
• Interest in RECOVER CPR certification
