You'll drive M&A origination for a global software investment group by identifying and engaging acquisition targets across India. You'll build relationships with founders and manage pipeline generation, directly shaping a fast-moving deal flow. This role offers exposure to high-impact transactions within an entrepreneurial, data-driven environment.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Identify and research vertical market software companies aligned with investment criteria.
- Initiate and manage outreach to founders and executives of target companies.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with business owners and industry participants.
- Manage outreach campaigns and meet pipeline generation targets.
- Qualify acquisition opportunities and support progression through the M&A pipeline.
๐ Requirements
- 4+ years in business development (preferably IT/software) or M&A deal origination.
- Proven ability to build and manage pipelines of business opportunities.
- Experience with cold outreach and initiating new business conversations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Basic understanding of M&A processes and financial concepts.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
