💼 About This Role

You'll oversee accounting operations for a fusion energy startup, ensuring compliance with government contracts and US GAAP. You'll lead cost accounting for capital-intensive manufacturing and support system implementations. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Monthly close processes and financial statement preparation
• Government contract accounting including FAR/CAS compliance
• Lead cost accounting for manufacturing (inventory, WIP, overhead)
• Support audits, grant reporting, and R&D tax credit documentation

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Experience in government contracting with FAR/CAS
• Hands-on experience with inventory, WIP, fixed assets

• CPA certification
• ERP system implementation experience
