💼 About This Role

You'll architect and develop infrastructure projects to make Verkada's platform reliable and cost-efficient at scale. You'll lead cross-team efforts, mentor engineers, and establish best practices across the organization. This role requires being onsite at our San Mateo HQ.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Identify and lead critical scalability, reliability, and efficiency efforts
• Influence platform features and direction with your own ideas
• Provide technical support for engineers on the team
• Align with product objectives and coordinate cross-functional teams

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or similar technical field
• Experience with Python and/or Go
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform
• Strong written and verbal communications

• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with a service mesh such as Istio
