💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the statutory CCO for a CFTC dual-registered DCM/DCO, ensuring adherence to the Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC Core Principles. You'll act as the primary liaison with the CFTC, guardian of market integrity and culture of compliance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as primary CFTC contact and manage regulatory exams and RERs.
• Oversee rule filings and ensure new products meet statutory standards.
• Lead trade practice surveillance to detect manipulation and spoofing.
• Develop and enforce the Compliance Manual and Code of Ethics.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles in US derivatives.
• Expert-level knowledge of Commodity Exchange Act, especially Parts 38, 39, 40.
• Bachelor's Degree required; J.D. or Master's in Finance/Business strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership managing compliance teams and interacting with C-suite.

• Experience with modern surveillance software (SMARTS, Scila, Eventus).
• Understanding of electronic trading protocols (FIX API).
• Legal or regulatory background at CFTC or NFA.
