💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the operational backbone of the legal department at a venture-backed defense aviation company, building systems and workflows to scale with rapid growth. You'll combine substantive paralegal work with legal operations to support corporate finance transactions and cross-functional process improvements. This role offers direct involvement in high-stakes equity and debt financing deals.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review and organize contracts, corporate documents, and correspondence
• Support equity raise and debt financing transactions from document management through closing
• Design and optimize legal department workflows and technology tools
• Manage legal department budget tracking and outside counsel spend

📋 Requirements

• 8–12 years of professional experience in corporate paralegal or legal operations roles
• 3+ years of experience in legal operations or legal technology implementation
• Direct experience supporting debt financing or equity raise transactions
• Strong working knowledge of contract management and corporate governance

✨ Nice to Have

• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
• Experience implementing CLM or other legal technology platforms
• Experience managing legal department budgets and outside counsel spend
