💼 About This Role

You'll join Cockroach Labs' growing accounting team to own general ledger accounting, month-end close, and SOX compliance. You'll help scale financial operations for a fast-growing tech company that powers some of the most innovative businesses globally.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute monthly accounting close activities
• Perform reconciliations and flux analysis
• Coordinate external audit requests
• Support international compliance efforts
• Assist with special projects and system testing

📋 Requirements

• 5-7 years of overall accounting experience
• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite experience a strong plus

✨ Nice to Have

• CPA preferred
• Experience with lease accounting (ASC 842) and fixed asset accounting
• System implementation experience
