Description

You will help expand ASM's advanced film technologies at a customer site in Oregon by developing, optimizing, and transferring ALD, PEALD, PECVD, Epitaxy, and LPCVD processes. You'll serve as the technical link between customer engineering teams and ASM's global Business Unit, ensuring smooth introduction of new products and processes.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in materials science, chemical engineering, or physics
• Hands-on experience with thin film deposition reactors (ALD, CVD, epitaxy)
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills (e.g., KT, FMEA, Ishikawa)
• Experience designing and interpreting DOEs and statistical experiments
• Familiarity with semiconductor device applications, vacuum techniques, metrology

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and transfer ALD, PEALD, PECVD, Epitaxy, and LPCVD processes
• Serve as technical link between customer engineering and ASM global Business Unit
• Ensure smooth introduction of new products and processes
• Troubleshoot process issues using structured problem-solving methods
• Support process transfer, scale-up, and qualification activities
