Description

You will design and build scalable distributed systems for Altruist's trading platform, mentor other engineers, and develop customer-facing web applications. Your work will directly impact the transformation of the wealth management industry by making financial advice more accessible.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building precise and scalable distributed systems
• B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Postgres, Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Lead and steward engineering best practices, mentoring other engineers
• Analyze and solve complex problems across multiple user personas and workflows
• Build and scale services and user-facing web applications
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT processes
• Build new data integrations based on established requirements
• Perform data analysis to investigate and resolve data issues
