Description

You will spearhead the strategic development and execution of global payroll risk and incident management, leading critical programs to enhance risk posture and drive resolution of high-impact incidents. You'll mentor team members, evolve frameworks, and influence how Remote grows with control and confidence.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in payroll risk management, incident response, compliance, or operations management
• Demonstrated ability to lead incident response and implement data-driven solutions
• Expertise in designing and scaling risk governance frameworks and tools
• Experience mentoring or managing in a distributed, remote-first environment
• Strong project management with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee global risk management frameworks for payroll operations and new product features
• Own and evolve the global payroll risk register, ensuring real-time visibility of risks and mitigation plans
• Serve as escalation point and lead coordinator for complex payroll incidents globally
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and optimize incident RCA database for trend identification
• Mentor and develop team members in risk assessment, incident handling, and RCA facilitation
