You'll build and improve core backend systems for Toast's Scheduling product, part of the Team Management Suite. Your work will directly impact how restaurants optimize labor plans for profitability and employee satisfaction. You'll partner with product and design to influence what we build and how we build it.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build, run, and improve core backend systems.
• Take end-to-end ownership of systems with focus on quality and reliability.
• Lead work across full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years backend experience with Java, Kotlin, or similar.
• Experience owning and operating production systems.
• Track record of tackling ambiguous, high-impact challenges.
• Ability to build systems that operate at massive scale.
