Description

You will develop loss projections for SoFi's lending products using quantitative and machine learning models, draw strategic insights from data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform decisions and support loss prevention and profit optimization.

Requirements

• 7+ years related experience with Master's/PhD
• Proven analytical skills in loss forecasting model building
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Tableau
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Prior experience in credit loss forecasting required

Responsibilities

• Develop loss projections for Personal Loans, Student Loan Refinances, Private Student Loans
• Draw strategic insights using statistical analysis to inform loss prevention and profit optimization
• Develop stress testing framework using macroeconomic data
• Improve forecasting accuracy and productivity
• Explore external credit data to identify market trends
