💼 About This Role

You'll lead HR strategy for a Y Combinator-backed FinTech startup, building scalable frameworks for performance management and employee retention across a distributed team. Partner with the COO and department leaders to design promotion pathways and culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design HR strategies with COO and leadership team
• Build performance management and promotion frameworks
• Coach managers on feedback and career development
• Oversee HR operations, compliance, and employee relations

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of HR experience including leadership roles
• Experience building HR frameworks in scaling tech companies
• Strong experience with performance management and leadership coaching
• Solid understanding of U.S. and Canadian employment laws

• Experience in fintech or SaaS companies
• Experience working alongside a dedicated recruiting team
• Experience scaling organizations from 50 to 150+ employees
