Description

You will prepare and review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates for transportation projects, and mentor technical support staff. This role involves developing detailed roadway designs, collaborating with teams and stakeholders, managing project tasks, and contributing to proposal development.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or higher
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain upon hire (preferred)
• Project experience in transportation engineering design (preferred)
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to develop task deliverables in a complete and timely manner
• Experience working with Local and State public agency clients (Public Works, DOTs, etc.)
• Proficient at using Microstation Open Roads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D design software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs of urban and rural roadways from preliminary to final design
• Collaborate with team members, communities, and stakeholders to define data needs, project requirements, and outputs
• Compile and coordinate plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items
• Support studies and alternative analysis to determine best solutions
• Work with various disciplines and reviewers to ensure complete, accurate, and high quality deliverables
• Contribute to proposal development
• Manage small projects and project tasks and assist Project Managers in overall large project delivery
• Manage and maintain project documentation
