Description

You will lead the end-to-end mechanical design and integration of advanced missile and UAV launcher systems for defense applications, collaborating cross-functionally and managing subcontracts from concept through production.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on mechanical CAD and system integration experience
• Demonstrated launcher design and integration success
• Deep understanding of ruggedized hardware design
• Proven ability to work independently and guide cross-disciplinary efforts
• Experience with solid rocket motor effectors, turbine-powered UAVs, or electrically powered UAV systems

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical architecture and integration of launcher systems across ground and maritime platforms
• Define and manage mechanical and electro-mechanical interfaces between missile, canister, and platform
• Lead design from concept through production and sustainment
• Provide technical management of subcontracts
• Guide cross-disciplinary engineering efforts
