You'll join a team building user-facing features on top of MongoDB's core query engine and integrating it with products like Atlas Search, Vector Search, and time-series. You'll contribute high-quality C++ code and collaborate with peers to deliver complex features. This role offers the chance to work on a leading developer data platform with a global impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Improve current functionality of the MongoDB query engine
• Contribute C++ code and participate in code reviews
• Design and implement new features for query performance and robustness
• Integrate query engine with other products and tools

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in computer programming
• Hands-on experience building industrial-strength software
• Strong competencies in data structures and algorithms
• Experience with large code bases, preferably in C++

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in databases or data management systems
• M.Sc./Ph.D. or hands-on experience in query engines
• Interest in database query engine theory and practice
