💼 About This Role

You'll work on integrating WebGPU into ParaView, an open-source scientific visualization tool. You'll test Qt prototypes, implement WebGPU support for distributed rendering with IceT, and evaluate performance gains. The role offers the chance to contribute to high-impact visualization pipelines used in supercomputing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Test and evaluate Qt and WebGPU prototypes
• Prototype and integrate WebGPU support in ParaView
• Prototype and integrate distributed rendering with IceT for WebGPU
• Evaluate distributed performance gains between WebGPU and OpenGL

📋 Requirements

• Knowledge of classic rendering pipelines (OpenGL or similar) and shader programming
• Good knowledge of C++
• Familiarity with CMake is appreciated

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of distributed programming with MPI
• Comfortable communicating in English
