In this hybrid role, you will lead SPS's Employee Relations strategy across multiple states, ensuring compliance with employment laws and partnering with leadership to foster a fair workplace. You will oversee investigations, provide expert guidance on complex employee matters, and develop a small ER team.
Requirements
- Seasoned Employee Relations leader with expertise in multi-state environment
- Experience supporting both frontline/operational and corporate staff
- Experience leading a small team
- Ability to perform in-office duties in New York NY, Los Angeles CA, or San Jose CA
- Expertise in compliance with CA and other key jurisdictions
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including investigations, corrective actions, performance management, and terminations
- Lead and develop ER/HR team members
- Conduct and oversee compliant workplace investigations
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws across a multi-state workforce
- Serve as trusted advisor to leadership on complex workforce concerns
