Description
You will define and lead an always-on community management and digital content strategy to strengthen player engagement, advocacy, and loyalty across all Core titles. You'll oversee cohesive content ecosystems and community programs that build enduring relationships with players and creators worldwide.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of community management, social media platforms, audience sentiment, growth tactics, and creative storytelling.
- Experience working closely with influencers to identify talent and develop activation strategies throughout the game lifecycle.
- Strong ability to establish KPIs, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional communication skills to influence and collaborate within a matrix organization and with international teams.
- Proven people leadership experience providing direction and fostering trust with direct reports and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of video game culture, particularly core games and their audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop cohesive content strategies, guiding digital content, social, community, and creator marketing leads as one holistic team.
- Represent the voice of the player, fostering deep relationships between players and franchises to influence product and marketing roadmaps.
- Develop and implement platform-specific global social, community, and creator strategies to increase presence, cultural relevance, and positive sentiment.
- Partner with Player Insights and Data Analytics to map platform strategies to audience segments and ensure content resonates.
- Define clear growth and engagement goals for each platform, tracking progress and proactively identifying emerging trends.
- Lead presence across key social platforms including Steam, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitch, Discord, Reddit, and YouTube.
- Establish, manage, and optimize the global content development calendar, prioritizing platform-exclusive content.
- Own data and analytics management and reporting across all social platforms to inform strategic decisions.
- Partner with go-to-market and media teams to develop cohesive organic and paid media strategies.
- Partner with Brand, Go-to-Market, Product, and Creative teams to develop and test innovative platform features.
- Develop and scale the team of community managers, social media experts, platform specialists, and copywriters.
